3. Accreditation & Representations
MICLOH is registered with HRD Corp (Human Resources Development Corporation, Malaysia) as a training provider, and is a Recognised Centre of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), United Kingdom for the delivery of specified CMI-accredited qualifications.
You expressly acknowledge and accept the following:
- The Executive Degree in HR Management & Development (EDHRMD) and the Executive MBA in Leadership & Management (EMLM / EMBA) programmes are NOT accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
- MICLOH does not represent or warrant that any of its programmes confer qualifications recognised by MQA, the Malaysian Public Service Department (JPA), or any Malaysian public-sector body for the purpose of public service pay grading, civil service promotion, or equivalent statutory recognition, unless MICLOH has explicitly stated otherwise in writing in relation to a specific programme.
- Where MICLOH delivers programmes in collaboration with local institutions or universities (whether Malaysian or foreign), such collaborative programmes are NOT MQA-accredited unless the partner institution has separately obtained MQA accreditation for that specific programme and has provided MICLOH with written confirmation of that accreditation.
- MICLOH is one of several organisations in Malaysia recognised by CMI. MICLOH does not claim to be the "sole", "only", or "exclusive" CMI centre in Malaysia, and any inference of exclusivity is expressly disclaimed.
- Certifications issued at the conclusion of MICLOH programmes are MICLOH certificates (or, where applicable, certificates co-issued with a named accreditation partner such as CMI UK). They do not represent accreditation by MQA unless explicitly stated.
- It is your responsibility to verify, prior to enrolling, whether a programme's accreditation (or lack thereof) meets your personal, employer, regulatory, or immigration requirements. MICLOH disclaims any liability for reliance on any accreditation assumption not expressly confirmed in writing by MICLOH.
4. Programme Enrolment & Fees
Enrolment in any MICLOH programme is subject to availability, eligibility, and MICLOH's acceptance of your registration. MICLOH reserves the right to accept or decline any enrolment application at its sole discretion and without providing reasons.
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are exclusive of applicable government taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment methods, early-bird pricing, discounts, and programme-specific terms are as published on the corresponding programme page at the time of registration and form part of the contract between you and MICLOH.
MICLOH reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, relocate, change the format of (e.g., from in-person to online, or vice versa), or cancel any programme due to insufficient enrolment, force majeure, or other operational reasons. In such cases, MICLOH will at its discretion offer you a transfer to a comparable rescheduled session or a credit note of equivalent value. Where MICLOH cancels a programme in full and does not offer a reasonable alternative, any prepaid fee for that programme will be refunded to the paying party.
5. Refund & Transfer Policy
This default rule applies to all MICLOH programmes, including (without limitation) EDHRMD, EMBA (EMLM), in-house training engagements, retainer and consulting services, team-building programmes, and collaborative programmes with partner institutions.
Programme-specific exceptions: Where MICLOH has published refund or transfer terms for a particular programme (for example, the free employee-substitution right that applies to the MICLOH Employment Act 1955 Seminar, subject to notice being given at least 7 days before the event), those published terms will govern exclusively for that programme and only within the stated conditions. No refund or transfer right will be implied where none is expressly stated.
HRDC / HRD Corp grant applications: Where you have elected to pay via HRD Corp grant, your payment obligations to MICLOH remain in full pending HRD Corp approval. If HRD Corp declines or reduces your grant for any reason, you remain responsible for the full programme fee owed to MICLOH.
Non-attendance: Failure to attend a programme in whole or in part, for any reason whatsoever, does not entitle you to any refund, credit, or transfer, unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable programme-specific terms.
Chargebacks: Initiating a payment card chargeback in circumstances where no refund is due under these Terms shall constitute a material breach. MICLOH reserves the right to recover all resulting costs (including bank fees, legal costs, and collection costs) from you, and to suspend any current or future services.
